“Its been a while so just come home
Take the backroads, the ones that we know
Bring all your memories from the shore
And I’ll share mine when I was alone.”

Homecoming is an attempt at expressing the longing for the return of a friend, a loved one, a soldier. While some come back with mental and physical bruises, some with amputation and some don’t come back at all. The collection takes cues from battlefield emotions and translates the same into visually striking prints and embroideries. From molten take on the camouflage to bleeding camo colours in checks, bruised stitches to up-cycled textiles and woodblock prints denoting the nostalgic take on home to patches of hand-knits and crochet sealing the nostalgia, the interpretations play high on the psychology of a soldier.
